Refund Policy

This policy covers the refunds process for all fees payable for training services and products provided by RYPA Training Pty Ltd t/a Perth Traffic Training either by face to face training delivery, online training delivery or any related product purchase from us, either digital or physical. 
This policy provides for the appropriate handling of student’s payments and to facilitate refunds in the case of cancellation by either party. 
Unless otherwise stated, all refunds of fees will only be granted in accordance with this policy. 
The terms and conditions of this policy apply to all students enrolled through Perth Traffic Training*, whether they are waiting to commence or have completed their training. 
a) Refunds must be requested in writing either by electronic or physical mail using the Perth Traffic Training ‘Application for Refund’# form to the Administration Officer of Perth Traffic Training 
b) Perth Traffic Training will process refund requests and if approved, arrange payment within 28 days. 
c) Refunds will be paid in Australian Dollars into the nominated bank account. 
d) Course cancellation: In the event of a training course being cancelled by Perth Traffic Training, all students enrolled in the course will have the option of being transferred to a later course or having a full refund of monies paid. 
e) RPL application fees are non-refundable 
f) Students who withdraw from their course and seek a refund are to make a request for a refund in writing using the ‘Application for Refund Form’#. To be eligible for a return, you must provide acceptable evidence that you were unable to attend the course. 
g) A student not achieving the qualification or unit/s in which they enrolled due to exhausting their attempts at assessment, does not entitle the student to a refund. 
Refund Eligibility Timeframes 
Course withdrawal – within 5 business days of course commencement – Nil refund 
Course withdrawal – 5 to 10 business days – refund depending on ‘Application for Refund Form’ 
Course withdrawal – Over 10 business days – Full refund 
After course has commenced – Nil refund

If you have not received your refund yet firstly contact your bank as there is often some processing time before a refund is posted. Failing that then please contact us at 
*Note-This refund policy does not apply to any student who has enrolled through our auspice partner Star Training and Assessing Pty Ltd. Please contact them if you have any queries. 

Credit Transfer

RYPA Training t/a Perth Traffic Training recognises qualifications and statements of attainment issued by other RTO’s for like competencies. Students seeking credit transfer for AQF qualifications and / or statements of attainment must present the original documents for verification.

Training Environment

RYPA Training t/a Perth Traffic Training will comply with all laws relevant to the operation of the training / workplace premises including occupational health and safety and fire safety regulations and ensure that the training / workplace premises are of adequate size and have adequate heating, cooling, lighting and ventilation. RYPA Training t/a Perth Traffic Training will implement fair educational programs, maximise the participation of students and will provide a culturally inclusive environment. It will assist students to access support and guidance services that cannot be offered internally.

RYPA Training t/a Perth Traffic Training is committed to meeting the needs of all participants. If support cannot be provided internally, appropriate external referrals will be suggested.

Complaints and appeals

RYPA Training t/a Perth Traffic Training will ensure the fair and efficient handling of any complaints should they arise. They will ensure that:
  • Each appeal and its outcome, is recorded in writing
  • Each appeal is heard by an independent person or panel.
  • Each appellant has an opportunity to formally present his or her case
  • A re-assessment will be carried out if necessary
  • Each appellant is given a written statement of the appeal’s outcomes, including reasons for the decision
