Austroads Temporary Traffic Management Harmonisation Update
WA is holding off adopting the 'Harmonisation' scheme awaiting other jurisdictions, such as Victoria, transition and positions taken in Queensland and New South Wales.
Expanded Mandatory Use of TMA's
TMA's must now be used on state roads with:
15,000 vehicles per day
Roads of a posted speed of 90km/h or higher
Roads of a posted speed of 80km/h or higher and traffic volume of 20,000 vehicles or higher
Roads in the table below

4.2 - TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT PLANS
TMPs must be signed by the person that prepared them, along with their name, AWTM certificate number and the date of endorsement of the plan. In addition, the person preparing a TMP must also include a statement on the plan confirming that a site visit was undertaken by them or another person under their direction, prior to preparing the plan along with a dated photo from the site visit (not required for Generic TMPs, see 4.2.2).
